Where every engagement begins
A short conversation, and a plain recommendation.
Most advisory relationships begin with a short conversation. Aldo listens to what you have, what you are drawn to and what the rooms ask for, and says plainly which of the gallery's services would help, and what it would cost. Existing collectors of the gallery are especially welcome to begin here.
Aldo Castillo opened his gallery in Chicago in 1993 and has presented hundreds of exhibitions since. He receives collectors himself, at the gallery on Fifth Avenue South in Naples.

You talk for thirty minutes.
The rooms, the collection, the works you are considering, and the question that brought you.
Aldo recommends the next step, if there is one.

Before you book.
Is the initial consultation really complimentary?
Yes. The first thirty minutes are offered without charge, especially to existing collectors of the gallery. Advisory work beyond it is charged for the professional time and responsibility involved, and every fee is confirmed before any work begins.
What should I bring?
Photographs of the rooms or of the works you already live with, measurements if you have them, and the question on your mind. None of it is required; the conversation can begin from nothing.
What happens afterwards?
If a longer engagement would help, Aldo proposes the service that fits and confirms its fee. There is no obligation after the conversation.
