Shipping Policy
How the gallery packs, ships and delivers your artwork, and how collection from the gallery works.
Effective September 17, 2026
Shipping options
Each artwork page and your checkout show which options are available for that work and your destination:
- Shipping included: the gallery pays for packing and shipping to the destinations offered.
- Flat rate shipping: a fixed shipping charge for each artwork, shown before you pay.
- Quoted shipping: for works that need custom crating or freight. You submit a purchase request with a 50 percent deposit, and we send you a crating and shipping quote with your balance invoice.
- Collection from the gallery: free, where it is offered for the work.
Some works cannot be shipped to every destination, and checkout tells you if a work cannot be delivered to your address. Please give a street address where someone can receive the delivery. Shipping charges are listed separately from the price of the artwork.
Packing and responsibility in transit
We pack each artwork to protect it in transit, using professional art packing and, where needed, a custom crate or a specialist fine art shipper.
The gallery is responsible for loss of or damage to the artwork until it is delivered to your shipping address. If something goes wrong, we deal with the carrier and any insurance claim, and you do not have to wait for a claim to be settled before we repair, refund or otherwise put things right as our Returns & Refunds Policy describes.
Installation, hanging, unpacking at your home and placement in a particular room are not included unless your invoice says so.
When we ship
We ship once your payment has cleared in full. ACH bank payments usually take several business days to clear, and checks can take longer.
Unless the artwork page or your invoice gives a different time, we ship within 30 days after we receive your full payment.
Transit time depends on the destination and the carrier, and we give you an estimate when the work ships.
If we cannot ship within the time we promised, we will tell you before that time passes, give you a revised shipping date or explain why we cannot give one, and let you choose to accept the delay or cancel your order for a full refund of everything you paid, including shipping and any deposit. If the revised date is no more than 30 days later and you do not reply, we will treat the delay as accepted. If we cannot give a revised date, or it is more than 30 days later, we will cancel and refund your order unless you agree to the delay. We send these refunds within seven business days.
Tracking
When your artwork ships, we email you the carrier and tracking details, and they also appear on your order page.
Receiving your artwork
Someone aged 18 or over should be present to receive the delivery, and the carrier may require a signature.
- Inspect the packaging before you sign. If it is visibly damaged, note that on the delivery receipt, photograph it, and contact us the same day.
- Unpack the artwork carefully and keep all packaging, including any crate, until you are satisfied with the work.
- Report any damage to us within five days of delivery, with photographs of the artwork, the packaging and the shipping label.
If an artwork arrives damaged or is lost in transit, our Returns & Refunds Policy explains how we put it right.
Collection from the gallery
Where collection is offered, choose it at checkout. We will tell you when the artwork is ready. The gallery is at 634 5th Avenue South, Naples, Florida 34102. Please bring photo identification, and tell us in advance if someone else will collect for you.
You may also arrange your own shipper to collect the artwork. Please tell us who will collect it and when.
Please collect the artwork within 30 days after we tell you it is ready, unless we agree a different date in writing. The gallery remains responsible for the artwork while it holds it for you, and responsibility passes to you when you, your representative or your shipper collects it.
Address changes and failed deliveries
Check your shipping address before you pay, and contact us straight away if it needs to change. Once a shipment has left the gallery, we can only redirect it if the carrier allows.
If a delivery fails because the address you gave is wrong or no one is available to receive it, or if you refuse a delivery that is not damaged, the carrier may charge for redelivery, storage or return, and we may ask you to pay those charges.
International shipping
Where a work is offered for delivery outside the United States, you are responsible for import duties, taxes, customs brokerage and similar charges, unless your invoice says otherwise. The carrier may collect them before delivery.
Some works need export or import permits, for example works containing protected plant or animal materials, and some cannot be exported to certain countries. We will tell you before you pay if a permit is needed or a restriction applies. The time the permit process takes is added to the shipping time, and customs inspections can also add time.
