A site visit, then the plan
$1,000 to $2,500 and above per project, including recommendations, placement, measurements and presentation concepts. The fee is confirmed against the scope before work begins.
Consultation fees may be credited once toward a qualifying artwork acquisition of $10,000 or more made through Aldo Castillo Gallery within twelve months.

What it is
A show argued from the work outward, in your own rooms.
Placement is curating. Aldo reads the architecture, the light and the way people move through a space, then decides which work belongs where, at what height, in what company. He measures every wall and plinth, sets the sequence a visitor meets, and specifies the framing and lighting that let each work be seen.
Aldo Castillo has curated since the early years of his career, at his own gallery and for others: the American Art Pavilion at Art Shanghai, the Miami International Art Fair, and at the Museo Popol Vuh in Guatemala City.

Aldo proposes a plan.
Which works, where, at what height and in what light, with measurements for every wall and plinth and concepts for framing and presentation.
We install it.
Hanging and lighting on site, coordinated with the framers and installers the gallery uses for its own walls.

Before you book.
What does a placement consultation cost?
From $1,000 per project, rising with the scope to $2,500 and above. It includes recommendations, placement, measurements and presentation concepts, and the fee is confirmed before work begins.
Does the fee count toward a purchase?
Yes. Consultation fees may be credited once toward a qualifying artwork acquisition of $10,000 or more made through Aldo Castillo Gallery within twelve months.
Can you work with what I already own?
Yes. A placement plan often begins with the works you have. Where the rooms would benefit from something new, Aldo says so, and any acquisition is a separate decision.
