About the exhibition
Homage to Andy Warhol was a group show in the gallery's Master Series, from 6 March to 6 April 2024.
The exhibiting artists were Harry Benson and Lluis Barba in photography, Havi Schanz and Nancy Iannitelli in painting, Wendy Gell in jewellery, Metis Atash and Ancizar Marin in sculpture, and Lorna Marsh and Javier Guadalupe in mixed media, with a wall installation by Carolina Sardi.
Benson photographed Warhol with Bianca Jagger at the Factory in 1977. The rest answer him at a distance: Barba's Warhol and his blue Marilyn, Schanz on architectural blueprint, Marin's Campbell's soup in car paint on metal, Gell's soup can bracelet, and a Rosenthal Studio glass dish signed by Warhol himself.
