About the exhibition
A Tribute to Claude Monet was a solo show of Fredy Villamil at the gallery in Naples, from 10 to 31 January 2024.
Villamil, a Cuban American artist at the peak of his career, travelled to Giverny and painted at the Maison et Jardins de Claude Monet. The show gathered the paintings that came of it: the pond and its water lilies, the garden and the gardener, alongside The Gathering and Monalisa's Hands.
