Winslow Bud Johnson: Chinese Zodiac Presentation

Winslow Bud Johnson, author of Chinese Zodiac Art, discussed the mysteries and origins of the twelve Chinese zodiac animals as seen in the illustrations by Tiffany Chang, a Naples artist born in Taipei, Taiwan. His discussion began at 6 p.m., during the opening reception for Ancient Chinese Secrets on Friday 9 November 2018.

Johnson, a Naples resident, has travelled extensively throughout China over thirty years, often leading group tours. In his words, many people identify more with the lunar based Chinese zodiac than with the Western astrological signs: the zodiac is represented by twelve animals, each believed to have its own characteristics influencing fortune, health, love and success.
