About the exhibition
Marlene Rose was the gallery's highlighted artist for February 2025 at the Naples gallery on Fifth Avenue South.
Rose's process is relatively new, but it rests on the thousands of years old tradition of bronze casting. Each of her pieces is hand cast from molten glass into a unique modern work of art that resonates with reference and allusions to other cultures and civilizations. Her work has been exhibited in museums.
The presentation gathered her Buddha heads and horses, among them Merlot Coin Buddha, Amber Dowel Buddha, Turkish Noble Ring Buddha, Framed Orange Buddha, Cobalt Blue Ancient Horse and the three horse Amber Rose Carousel of 2012.
