The work in depth
Catch
This piece is part of a larger series of large-scale color field and abstract expressionist paintings by the artist. The composition juxtaposes fluid, translucent washes of blue, vibrant orange, and bright yellow block forms with distinct structural elements, notably a thin, sweeping red diagonal band and dense, interlocking geometric black linework dominating the foreground
