Rose Garden kimono

The work exemplifies Marlene Rose’s signature technique of pouring molten glass into hand-formed sand molds. A stylized Japanese kimono emerges in a luminous dusty rose hue, adorned with relief-cast white flowers and dark branches evocative of traditional textile patterns. The cast-glass form is elegantly elevated within a custom minimalist steel stand, creating a striking dialogue between delicacy, materiality, and structure.
